Many, many thanks to all those who attended - and voted at - last nights EGM.
For those of you who were not there the voting was 91 in favour of the motion proposed and 9 against - a massive majority.
This means that the Management committee / Trustees have been authorised to sign Conditional Contracts with Strongvox for the sales of our current ground and for the provision of new facilities.
There is still a massive amount of work to be undertaken even before the formal planning applications are made to North Somerset Council - and even if all goes well it will probably be 2020-21 before we are playing Rugby at the new ground.
Most importantly though - as John Crew stressed many times at last night's meeting - the project will only be completed if all the conditions of the contract are met. That means that the sale of the ground must generate sufficient revenue to enable the club to purchase the new site, build all the new facilities and to retain an adequate Financial Reserve.
My special thanks to all of those people who have contributed so much over the last two years to enable us to reach this point.
The future is very exciting.
